Seasons Summary or not !

For those of you who do not visit the BBC footy site they have done an extensive review of "What If".
It does not read too well for football as a whole with players futures looking very dodgy in the leagues below Premiership.

What and where will we be in 6 months time?

"The hand-to-mouth existence of clubs can't happen when the hand to feed them has been cut off."

......

I bet a lot of people during these times are re-considering their pay cheque to pay cheque living.

Football is unusual in that players have multi-year contracts which clubs are obliged to honour, regardless of circumstances.
While the rest of the economy will suffer massive redundancies on statutory minimum payouts, lower league clubs are saddled with obligations they cannot meet next season, if we assume that matches will be played without crowds for most or all of next season. After that is guesswork.
Probably the way in which football is structured will have to change fundamentally.

Admin will be the way out for many and the rich clubs will pick over the players who’s contracts are voided.

Good question...

Once they've completely lost their minds?

If all of these was written in a novel, the editor would call the writer mad and tell him it was far beyond belief!
