First big deal of the summer signed, sealed and delivered.
Icardi has joined PSG for £52 million. There’s been talk of big money deals being shunned this summer for fear of public opinion being negative but imo much like the rush to get to the beach and forget lockdown, I very much doubt (rightly or wrongly) people will care about big deals being done once the players arrive.
Football is as they say, the opium of the masses and I’m sure big deals will happen this summer without too much consternation. Perhaps not as much as years gone by but enough to make the summer interesting.

Interesting question actually. If it opens on June 10th as it was due to, presumably Chelsea will get Ziyech for the remainder of the season? There'll be little resistance from Ajax with the Eredivise over.

Though there’s rumours that new transfers may be allowed to play in UEFA competition. So he may be allowed to play when Chelsea get battered in their second leg vs Bayern.
