Tomorrow, mate. It was the weekly family zoom today. Needy cants on her side. My side since lockdown has been 3x calls, a handful of mails and a few whatsapp funnies. Aside from being related we have next to fack all in common and we know it so don't pretend. perfectly civil like but no need for contrived small talk. We all know each other would rally if we are needed.

Back on the Scotch. Kids are out so we're having a ready meal that's been festering on the back of the freezer for months. Some chicken thing that has almonds - boak, checkpeas - her boak & aubergine - what a useless vegetable that looks like dog vomit. Needed a stiffener.

Hibs have upped their attendances this season, went to a couple of games with a Hibby mate who has two season books and the atmosphere was more than decent to be fair

I feel that all leagues in England and Scotland could have played 1 more week of games, given it was Easter weekend, teams would have played Sat, Monday and then Fri,Sat,Sun. Liverpool would have won it, others would have got promoted or relegated.

They could have played those 3 games behind closed doors before anyone shoots.

I don’t think it was casted early

Better to conclude it and plan from a meaningful 20/21 season

Average attendances in the region of 16000 which sounds fine
But the 10 other clubs average only 7000
That’s with the likes of Hibs averaging 17000 which is their second highest since the 50s

If you take the top 5 supported teams out of it you then get to @ 4000 for the rest

We need to do something to get folk away from their TV sets and into grounds

Season WAS called way too early ,we could/should have played out the remaining games.
Celebrating 9 in a row seems pretty meh without it actually being completed on the park.
Im old enough to remember when we did it the first time and it was glorious, this time i feel we've been kinda cheated out of our celebrations when waiting a few weeks would have made it possible to play out even if it was behind closed doors.

In England they are only starting to play football in mid June within closed doors. If, as expected, Liverpool win the EPL, they are likely to do so behind closed doors with no fans present at the game to celebrate. The EPL can go ahead on this basis because there is money there to do so. In Scotland, the earliest that play could have started would probably be mid July and only behind closed doors. There would be no CELTIC fans watching to celebrate. In reality, football behind closed doors in Scotland cannot be afforded. Celebrating With the players at a match, as in previous years was great but it is no longer achievable. Sadly, That is the reality and we just have to accept it.
