was 359 in the UK. Astonishingly that was more than 27 European Countries combined. Now I may be missing something here, but why does our Government think it is safe to open up everything right now. From schools opening to football starting, I don`t quite get why they think our country is any safer place to be opening up than it was when it was shut down. Threat Level is still at Four, which by Scientific and Medical advice is not the level to be unlocking. So this is clearly a political decision, and we have to pray it doesn`t backfire.
With 40,000 confirmed deaths likely to be reached by the end of the week, still the second highest in the world, although I suspect Brazil will soon overtake the UK, but even so to be in the top three hotspots in the world is pretty shameful.
The Government doesn`t seem to have made any real progress in bringing down the numbers over the past month, it has pretty well stalled, and the track and trace, which was supposed to unlock everything, is turning into a bit of a shambles, who would have thought it wouldn`t. No figures being given out as to how successful is has been, so you can more or less say it hasn`t been the world beating test and trace system our PM promised.
Marks our of 10 for this Government`s handling of the crisis has to be two at best, and that is being generous.

Which 27 countries are these? Half of them could be Lithuania, Luxembourg, Gibraltar etc because you know what our media is like with over-exaggerating things like this virus.
Every day you seem to put something up about how terrible this is, what would you do? Keep us all locked indoors until this is over with? No chance.

Sandy, if you are complaining about causing more deaths, you really need to look no further than the protestors currently in London. All of them in their thousands banded together. Travelling on tubes etc, passing it on to the public. Completely ignoring we are in a pandemic. People are quick to have a go at the beach goers, who the vast majority are social distancing Why have these protestors escaped criticism?
