Pogba. The Elephant in the room.

Football is back! Our form before the break was impressive without some key players and our system was finally coming to the fore.

after the break, some key players are now fit and are meant to come in and take us to the next level. Rashford has been missed and will be a marked improvement. Pogba; on the other hand, I'm not so sure. He is massively talented and used rightly, will definitely lead to a better team but I just do not believe he will work in our formation. He is just to unpredictable in his personal style.

Now I know many will say its Ole's job to make it work, but to be honest we all know making Pogba work is not going to be easy. neither can he be benched to ease him into the formation. Questions will keep coming up if he does not start.

Its a feeling I have, based on previous times he has started in midfield for us. He is the ultimate hot and cold player and we need consistency. I hope to be proven wrong.

We need players who can't real down a stubborn and deep defence, particularly with our remaining fixtures. Pogba will help in that regard.

Unless it’s three at the back, we might see something like:

——————DDG
AWB—Lindelof—Maguire—Shaw
——————Fred
———McT
—————————Pogba

——————Bruno
——Martial————Rashford
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope so. Not ruling out ole playing Pogba in a two though...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sticking with the 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1 against Spurs and dropping either McT or Fred for Pogba would be a mistake, IMO.

A form player like Fred might take a few games to get into his rhythm again. Pogba should be able to produce from the off, as he has natural talent.

If Pogba starts against Spurs, I think we’ll be seeing the diamond, because I don’t see how McT, who has apparently been absolutely stand out in training, or Fred is left out.

I’d be quite annoyed if mct was dropped for him to be fair, and Fred to an extent, but mct has been getting better and better, don’t want to see that stunted for mr hot and mostly cold.

Pogba will need to get his place back and play regularly if he is to realise his dream move next summer

I’m sure this will be the side against Spurs (injury permitting)

One thing I can say about Pogba is this will be the first time at Utd he has had competition for his place. He better rise to it.

Is there? I’m not sure he’s not viewed as automatically in, no matter wahl form.

You must type wahl a lot.

We currently have McT, Fred and Bruno on form. So it's up to Ole to show he can manage big egos that you get at a big club.

I'd bench Pogba for the Spurs game and carry on as we were for big games (3-5-2)

After that, we have a run of games where we should try to dominate and can have a DM plus Pogba and Bruno
