Another CB would be nice, but it shouldn't be someone that breaks the bank if we need that money elsewhere. Hence a loan move for Foyth would make some sense.

Ayala aint bad for free. Improvement on Berardi at CB. Need better though.

We would be better playing Dallas at CB than Ayala

I'd keep Berra if he wanted to stay - he is a fantastic role model, he will do his job when called upon. He makes no more mistakes than any others (Cooper, Douglas, Alioski,etc) and for 99% of the time he has a super-cool head and loves to anticipate, cut out threats, and pass out from the back accurately.

He has been subject of some woeful decisions.But everyone focuses on the 1%.

20m in today's market white would be an absolute steal even if he doesn't have PL experience

thing is, white is guaranteed a starting place if he joins us, if he goes to a so called bigger club he will be a part timer. i hope he sees the bigger picture & signs, what a shop window for the lad, make himself a name at a huge club
for 2/3 years then if we do not cut it he will be worth zillions

This was likely the attitude applied to Joe Gomez when he signed for Liverpool. Not so long later he's a serial England international, a champions League winner and soon to be a PL winner.

I think there would be opportunities for White at somw of those clubs interested in him.
