I think his contribution is vastly underrated on here. He's been a vital part of how we play against the bigger teams.
Also worth mentioning that it's his first season in the prem

Agree that he has played much more than he should have, which is obviously the club's fault not his.

You kinda feel that he has been a bit underwhelming, but worth noting that he has 9 goal contributions this season (3 goals, 6 assists), which is the same as Pepe, and more than Zaha/McNeill/Pulisic, all of whom are often labelled as "much better than what we have".

For a first season at a big club in the PL, and after the messiness of the summer, that's a 7 to 8 out of 10, for £15m at least.

Would love to see us go deep in a tournament.

Nothing beats to atmosphere.

Even Euro 2016 was magical when we beat Italy and took the lead vs France.

We do have a few decent attacking prospects for the 1st time in a while.

If only we had tied down Rice and Grealish we’d have the makings of our best side in a while.

Which for a £60m signing is damning in itself. Especially when his competition for most of the season has been Pedro and Willian.

Poor excuse Wahl.

If I remember rightly - and these days I often don't - he was eased in gently, and didn't make that much of an impression for a month or two (in contrast to James, who was pretty hot to start with, before fading).

But yeah, quick check of the stats and James has indeed played almost twice as many minutes this season as Pulisic.
