football stopped in March, and its resumption in June, not expecting the football to be that high a quality going forward. The next nine games will be like a pre season warm up games ready for the new season in my opinion. All be it a bit more riding on each game.
Now all our new players have had a bedding in period, Lo Celso, Ferndandes, Bergwyn and N`dombele, they should be interesting additions to an already talented squad with the likes of Kane, Son, Dele, Moura, etc. Defence is vastly experienced, so just needs to cut out the mistakes, and do the simple things properly when required. Winks and Dier are the obvious weak links, seriously not good enough to start, but I suspect Jose will start at least one tonight. May get away with that if the rest of the team get their act together.
Pretty confident of a win tonight, and going forward should set the team up for a decent finish to the season. United are being talked up like they are peak Barca, when they are a pretty average outfit these days. So I expect a home Manchester Double come 10.15 pm this evening

To be fair Pogba and Rashford were most likely going to miss most of the season although I don't think Pogba coming back is a good thing unless he can play with Fernandes.

Sandy, I don't get how you can say dissapointing not to win when your side played probably the worst game against us in many years at home and only were leading due to a goalkeeping howler. We had so many chances and should really have scored 4 and I can only remember that one chance after you scored.

United looked poor up front, Lloris only had a couple of saves to make, Spurs contained United easily up until the stupid foul and penalty. Spurs themselves git into lots if promising positions first half, and should have gone in more than one goal up half time. Over the 90 minutes draw was about right.

You only created 2 chances the whole 90 minutes. Rashford missed an absolute sitter in the 1st half and 2nd half we had enough chances to score 4 easy goals while you created nothing. Never seen Spurs so poor at home against us in many years. If De Gea didn't throw one into the net as the ball was straight at him we would have won most likely as it was pretty much one way traffic. I think we snatched at things we shouldn't have. Even after we scored we had a lot of good chances to win.

Fernandes smashed a shot that had Lloris beaten but went wide, Greenwood the same, Martial hit Lloris 2nd half when more in the corner and it was a goal and another time a first time shot would most likely have gone in but taking a touch allowed a last ditch block.
Honestly Spurs are lucky they are playing against a side near 20th most efficient at both ends this season otherwise you would lose against all the other teams in the league playing like that.
Thats why we have so few points. Need like 10x as many chances as the opposition to win by 1 goal.

Just checked only Norwich City are worse at finishing than us away from home. That is pretty embarrassing considering how much we spent.

I think since we beat PSG we average a goal away from home every 25 shots and concede a goal every 6 shots. Crazy when you think of it for over a year that bad.
