Fans back?

Always thought that once things started to ease they would move with pace, but even I am taken aback by the thought that pretty much everything will be open for business with a reduced 1m social spacing rule from early July.

The one that surprised me most was cinemas. Okay you can have every second seat left free but even so it's an enclosed space for 2-3 hours for anyone visiting.

So why wouldn't fans be let into stadiums even in a reduced capacity?

I expect fans back by the first game in August unless there is a significant downturn.

Thoughts?

If they are high risk they shouldn’t be looking after anyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

people in the uk done a VE day conga line.

they have, despite being told not to, met up for drinks in houses and flouted social distancing rules.

my eldest was back at her mums, during lockdown she has seen all 5 of her uncles, her mums side gradparents, and her mums pals.

people are stupid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Some people are stupid.

Over 91% strictly complied with the conditions. The vast majority still do even now and don’t want to even contemplate changing their behaviour. I believe quite strongly that practically everyone will have changed their day to day habits.

So we had what? A few thousand? Maybe as many as 10,000 in the entire country behave like idiots. They were all over the national news.

Let’s say it was 25,000. Maybe even 50,000. As a percentage of the population that’s 0.07% of the country. Each of which now have a 1 in 1700 chance of catching it. It’s practically irrelevant.

But because of the fear ingrained now into many people’s psyche they don’t actually understand the risk.

This one metre plus is a pile of $hite
It’ll be ignored in pubs etc
They, the govt., for political reasons cannot say batter in but that’s what’ll happen
Pubs will get busy folk will get pashed and distancing won’t exist

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably true, however, if they stick to reduced capacity and other rules then it'll be reduced somewhat
Although the rules about regular toilet cleaning will certainly be ignored in a few pubs I can think of. Probably not had their toilets cleaned since opening

Might need to get a job as a cleaner to excuse yourself for constantly being in the toilet.
