Be excited about xhaka returning to the starting 11? He's due to start tomorrow. Really think he is key to Artetas plans

There's a possibility we could slip back down to 14th by the time our game is over tomorrow.
Any team in 14th place would be glad to have a player like Xhaka back from injury.

Honest opinion, the MF is the worst in the premiership
Players like Guendouzi and Willock in there just sums up where we are as a team

You think we could lose 7-0?

Xhaka has been key when Saka has played LB. Interesting to see if his role is the same if he plays with Tierney at LB.

It's easy to forget that these players are only 20 years old. I'll stick my neck out and say they are considerably ahead of their peers across the league thanks to all the first team football they've been getting.
Bring in a couple of ball-winners into the rotation and these players would shine.

Sorry you’re having a laugh if you really believe that Willock, Nelson ect are good enough for us, they’re championship players along with nketiah. Saka , Martinelli yeh they certainly have something and maybe Guendouzi might have something about him if he has someone experienced to settle him down and stop him leaving his position. Compare Willock with Sancho, Maddison, Foden. He’s nowhere near there level.

I guess it depends on what "good enough" means. These lads came in and made waves in a side full of mature players. So they're good enough.
As for the others, I'd say Sancho is pretty much up there. But Madison and Foden would struggle to get any rhythm going in a side without a capable ball-winner doing all the hard work. They would probably shrivel in a side where every ball they lost ended in a shot on goal.

He is needed. We currently potentially have 9 players Unavailable for tomorrow, ridiculous. Can guarantee if we had Liverpool’s squad we’d have VD, Salah, Trent, mane, Armstrong, Fabinho all out for 3/4 of the season And finish 8th. Crazy how often our squad is never fit compared to most other teams, been happening for like last 15 years!

Having a ball winner is totally irrelevant , I’m talking from a technical point of view, from a decision making point of view in the final 3rd of games. How these players can affect games. Maddison broke through in a struggling Leicester side after they started selling there best players and be broke through. Ok Foden plays in a world class side but look at his touch, his movements, his ability to find a pass and get on the end of moves. I’ve seen enough of Willock and Nelson to know they’re are not good enough for us. It used to be yrs ago that only exceptional kids would break through to our first team and rarely would they. Ashley Cole and Cesc, both exceptional players. That is the way it should always be at a big club.
