I wonder are Europe’s other super clubs looking at him and regretting not going for him?

He was there for the taking for a while.

Spurs were after him last summer.

I said super clubs

I think they had a look but were never fully in for him.

He has such a clever imagination and a clear quick mind.

I thought that meant he wasn't any good.

That turn he did before Martial’s hat-trick goal was superb,

Yep I bet there are a few clubs regretting not making a move. He looks class. So glad we got him.

I think the top teams were slightly apprehensive about his relatively low pass completion rate. But for me, I'd rather have a no.10 who's always looking to play the killer pass but maybe only succeeds once every three times than one - ahem Lingard/Perreira - who never even attempt to make the final pass

Which was nonsense anyway given how insanely productive he was.

I keep thinking how devastating he'd be in Klopp's Liverpool team, with the movement and skill of Mane, Firmino & Salah ahead of him and their desire to win the ball back early and high up the pitch. Klopp himself said some positive words about him after a pre-season friendly in which he played well last summer I believe. Thankfully they too passed up on him!

Give it a few years and Martial, Rashford and Greenwood could be just as devestating. Maybe throw Sancho into the equation too.

Wait until Paul and Bruni develop a true understanding of each other. We're seeing glimpses of Marcus and Tony doing this, and as more of our players get in sync - we will be in another level.
