With the way society is heading right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if in 15/20 years there was a concerted move to make the UK a republic and abolish the royal family to imo their rightful place in the history books.
What way would you guys vote? I understand the ‘they bring in tourist 💷’ argument but surely much like in France, visits to empty palaces would still bring in loads of money?
Are you a Monarchist or Republican?

Our Open Door policy on immigration means the monarchy are in decline.
A family of 20 just arriving from Eritrea are unlikely to have much empathy for a Royal Family they've never heard of.

In answer to the OP. I'd vote out this archaic institution.
At least King Eric earned his title.

She isn't in charge of the Armed Forces, the Government are, the same as they can tell her what to do!..

mmmm. Be interesting to see who the Military chose to protect when push comes to shove between The Crown and Parliament. They ain't called Royal Navy and Airforce for nothing.

We don't call her 'The Boss' for nothing!

Our armed forces wear the Crown on their uniform buttons. They have no "allegiance" to Parliament.
