Liverpool have won in the worse Prem ever. City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all had better teams.

Liverpool could barely compete in one tournament. Domestically in cup competitions awful, and first decent side they met in the Cl, the got knocked out.

Prem was an awfully low standard with lots of teams rebuilding.

Whatever makes you feel better. Liverpool were so good they won the league with 7 games to go.

The only way Liverpool can match City's achievement is to win all 4 domestic trophies in the same season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They could beat it by winning a PL and CL double though. Or even a PL and EL double
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, winning the domestic quadruple means you're better than any other club in this country.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And if Liverpool (or any other team) won the PL and CL (or even EL) then they would have eclipsed that achievement.

As long as they did a domestic clean sweep as well.

They wouldn't need to. The CL is more prestigious and bigger than the FA Cup and League Cup combined. So winning the PL and the CL on the same season would beat a domestic treble. The FA doesn't recognise the community shield as a competitive game so it has the same standing as any friendly competition.

You don't seem to have got the gist of this.

I wonder whether the sixth time we won old big ears should have an asterisk next to it? After all we only beat Tottenham in the final.
