What happen to him? He had excellent last season and first half of this one but frankly speaking since Christmas period his performance declined rapidly and performance he showed up in last 2 games was abysmal tbh. Didn't track , zero pressure on oposition, couldn't hold the ball at all and this is exactly why he lost his starting position in first 11 at the moment and was replaced with Olivier. Now under pressure from Olivier who is performing great every game and new arrival Timo next season I don't see him play much unless he get his act together because he is worse performer in our team. Dont let me start on Lotus and Odoi who I qm not sure will make it.

He started the season in amazing form. Scoring from the one or two chances he would get in a game. Was clinical. But then he got injured and was rushed back and was over played as Lampard didn’t trust Bats and Giroud which led to his form falling of a cliff.
Hopefully we see the best of him now after this long break. He’ll start against Leicester.

I don't think he's been that bad. It's impossible for me to judge our CF these days without drawing comparisons to the recent past, and by that measure there's nothing wrong with Abraham. There's even elements to his game that I prefer over Costa.
The fact the likes of Werner will put him in a fight for his spot isn't a bad thing, and as Sideshow said regardless of current form he's shown enough this season to justify a squad place going forward and back in August that's what we needed to know.

I think it's a bit harsh, people bringing his form into question.
Don't forget he's barely been fit since January, had a three month layoff since lockdown and since has hardly played since football has restarted.
I'm sure he'll come again!

I mean since he was at full fitness before injury and lock down, what do evidence is there to support such a harsh critique?
