We are halfway through Kiko's ban.

How do you think Meslier is doing?

In my mind, he had little to do against Hull or Huddersfield, both comfortable wins. His kicking was close to that of his debut.

Against Cardiff, a better keeper could have stopped one if not both of the goals.

Yesterday, though he made a couple of good stops, his kicking wasn't the best and he looked flappy on a couple of crosses, that said he showed a bit of deft footwork towards the end of the game and doesn't look a mug with the ball at his feet. His distribution was good for the Alioski goal.

I am not sold on Meslier but think that by the end of the ban we should be promoted and wouldn't be surprised if he sees the season out.

Feel sorry for BPF, he was doing so well for a time at Leeds and was unlucky. and was often the Leeds' spokesman, and very articulate guy in his interviews. He has potential and am sure has learned from his mistakes.

Me too, I said at the time I didn't BPF had been as bad as some made out. Kiko had at least as many howlers as him when he first arrived

We need a good old David Harvey type of keeper.

BPF was terrible in my opinion. It felt like any shot on goal was going in, he really struggled with long distance shots and anything low either side of him.

Kiko was always poor with decision making and crosses/set pieces which all came to a head and his confidence was shot by the time he got his ban.

Real questions to be asked of Victor Orta and the goalkeeping coach. We've had Wieldwald, BPF, Kiko Casilla who have all ended up making lots of costly mistakes and losing all confidence.

Meslier was good yesterday. He should have done better at Cardiff but overall I think he's looked fairly solid.

Think we will go for someone very similar to Casilla. Wouldnt be surprised if we go for that Bravo

Not saying i rate him btw.

Meslier is miles better at commanding his box than casilla. Far more comfortable with him at set pieces

Thing is with the Cardiff game is it wouldn't have mattered much who was in goal, the best would have struggled with those goals!..

Agree with Cal, too early to say.

Shaun, get your point and I too prefer the fashioned style keeper.. but Bielsa likes them to be ball players.. which is why he got rid of BPF and kept Kiko and messier
-------------------------------------------------------------------- BPFs distribution was a strength of his game - and he left because he wanted to. Be interesting to see whether he makes the grade... now he’s no 2 at Burnley.

Most young keepers make mistakes. BPF did, Meslier has looked a bit flappy but it’s high pressure stuff and he’s just a kid. Jury out on him. I hope kiko has played his last game for the club. Just didn’t work out for him.

Nah, that could never happen, Leeds only improve other teams players, they'll never do that with their own!..
