the bit that pleased me most was greenwood's chipped cross, which was a lovely bit of play, probably the best we have seen from him outside of his finishing.

but there is something special about a volleyed finish that hits the turf before the net, allowing the ball to fizz off the pitch and gather speed. cantona did it against...was it newcastle? but yeah, like the powerful shot that hits the post before going in, it's a rare treat.

Bar is much better than post if you ask me! Especially if it thumps into the ground and then back into the roof of the net.

It was a brilliant counter in all phases of play.

Reminiscent of the Ronaldo and Rooney days. Beautiful goal, technically sound, speed and precise.

given that i actually had yeboah in mind when i wrote that, not sure why i went with post rather than bar in the first place.

I don’t think anyone would have imagined just how big that name would become.

The team build up play from Maguire - Matic - Greenwood and then for Bruno to finish it on the volley should be in a top contender for team goal of the season.

The final piece of that play - Bruno's volley was brilliant.

However, i also thought that Mason's goal was equally as good.

Th volley wasn't that difficult imo. The weighted cross was harder, imo. I'm yet to see the pass from Matic!

Just seen it. It was a good pass, nothing else, and was on the volley.
