For the first time in 16 weeks the Emirates Stadium is going to host a football match. Tonight sees bottom of the table Norwich City visit.
Our current home 'form' is as strong as it has been for a long time - 4 wins and a draw in the last 5. Of course things are different now, and home advantage may not be what it once was.
With the good news that Bukayo Saka has signed a long term contract, the optimism is beginning to tentativily grow around the club. Kieran Tierney has put a run of good performances in since the break, Emi Martinez has looked solid in covering Leno, we even kept a clean sheet - and a couple of midfielders scored . Cedric Soares looks like he is available tonight, and Lucas Torreira is close to a return as well.
We are likely to see Aubameyang back in the starting XI, and Sundays hero Dani Ceballos should also be reinstated after rotation for the cup match. The first question is whether we will stick with the 3-4-3 or go back to a 4 man defence?
Norwich, despite an encouraging cup performance at the weekend, look doomed. It is only the equally poor form of those just above them that gives them a chance of survival - and they know a win tonight puts them back in the mix. They go into the game with a defensive crisis. Tim Klose is banned, joining the likes of Hanley and Zimmerman in missing the game. Max Aarons faces a fitness test. They have the second worst defensive record at the best of times - so a good bet is for Tim Krul to keep a clean sheet
A win tonight will see us rise (for 24 hours anyway) to 7th - and above Spurs!
As such, my prediction is Arsenal 0-1 Norwich
A home game <yikes>

Saka has been playing a lot of games. Deserves a rest.

Credit where credit is due, Luiz had a decent to good-ish game today. Hasn't changed my opinion of us signing Chelsea 'has-beens' though, if he can continue to put performances in like that until next Summer than fair play to him and we will be able to remember his time at the club with a little more fondness but like Mustafi, I feel he is error prone and loses concentration at times and the better teams do punish you for those lapses unlike today when Mustafi made that braindead pass in defence and Norwich failed to capitalise.

Luiz has been good under Arteta, that city cameo aside
