Stick or twist vs Bournemouth

I’d go same line up again, hopefully finish the game as a contest within the hour and get key players off early like on Tuesday.

I think the 5 Sub Rule is important to the health and safety of the players. Careers have been cut short because a player stayed on the pitch too long, "taking one for the team". Is it so much of a stretch from the current 3-Sub Rule? Regardless, Ole should and will start Bruno and that same line-up so we can thrash the Cherries and try and get 3-4 nil by 60 minutes. A deserved rest after the hour is in order. 3rd place is ours if we want it bad enough. "Trashing the Cherries" sounds like great fun, donut?

I don't like the 5 subs rule. Subs were introduced for the welfare of an injured player. Not so the manager can tinker with the system let alone use them for time wasting or disrupt the flow of a game.

Sorry didn't mean that as a reply but as a new post.

Surprised by Spurs. A win tonight gave them an outside chance of top 4. Firmly a 4 horse race for 2 places now.

Stick and go for goals... Leicester have a better goal difference should it come to it... Good chance to eat into it

You were really surprised by Spurs?

We’ve got some nice fixtures to eat into the gd. But I don’t think it’ll matter for Leicester. It’ll be more important for Chelsea and Wolves, and we are pretty comfortable ahead of both of them with that.

With the number of subs we can make it makes sense to start strong then take off key players later on. Should be too strong for them, they're terrible at the moment.

Josh King always ups his game against us.

Think he's injured.

That's a shame. For him and Bournemouth.

Absolutely stick. The players are confident and in great form, and although our quality in depth isn’t as good as it could be, we still have more options than most of the teams we’re going to be facing. Remember they will be tired too.

Personally Bruno looks fit and willing, and Pogba has typically shown he doesn’t need a run after a lay off. He tends to come in at a good level straight away and doesn’t need many games to find form.

The only player of ours that looks off the boil is Rashford, so he needs more game time I’d have thought. A goal would give him a lift, too.

Hopefully Rashford can find his form again soon. But it’s a good thing we don’t appear to be as reliant on him as we were. Martial, Bruno, Greenwood and hopefully Pogba can all step up and score goals if Rashford isn’t firing. I haven’t mentioned Ighalo as he’s not really had much of a chance to make an impact in the prem.
