Does anybody understand football anymore ??

So Moura is sprinting at full speed, gets fouled and as he is falling to the ground, with his arms naturally outstretched to break his fall, the ball has some sort of minor brush of his arm on the way down.

HOW IS THAT CLEAR AND OBVIOUS ???

Oh and to add insult, we don't even get the free kick.

Seen some joke var's this year, but that takes the buscuit. If there was a var of the season competition, that would win it.

Really need to find a new sport to follow, as this one is dead in the water.

It’s a terrible rule, but it doesn’t excuse us from defending like cuuunts

Doesnt have to be clear and obvious. If it hits the arm, the goal gets disallowed. Ridiculous rule but that's the rule.

I’ve said it for years and I’ll say it again, there needs to be a common sense panel.

Ex pros sit on it and have a say in any law changes.

VAR is a shambles but the changes to offside and handball over the years is equally as bad.

It does have to be clear and obvious, and in this case it was. Obviously the rule is a joke though.

To everyone just saying “that’s the rule”. We know. Not many people are arguing that the rule wasn’t followed. The point is we all know it’s a ridiculous rule that ruins the game.

It’ll be gone next season but that doesn’t help anyone now.

Why does handball overrule the foul? Foul was first so it should be a free kick.

Have you seen some of the nonsense ex-pros come out with? Not sure that's the solution either...

You'd have the 'he felt contact so he's entitled to go down' pr1cks making the rules

VAR doesn't rule on freekicks.
