Move On, Harry

In my opinion, the only reason our star striker has stayed as long as he has is because he'd rather experience winning one trophy with Spurs than several with another club.

None of us can begrudge him the move that he deserves now. He simply will not fulfil his ambitions at Spurs and he's hung around long enough to find out.

Turning 27 later this month, H can no longer be considered a young player who doesn't need to rush. Sure, it would mostly hurt seeing him score goals in another shirt, celebrating with other fans, but another part of me would be happy to see such a brilliant professional who's worked so hard to get to where he is, win the trophies he deserves.

Of course he would be seen as even more of a Spurs legend if he gives us his whole career, becomes our top scorer, breaks Shearer's England record all while playing for Spurs, but a player of that ilk should be winning the biggest accolades.

Unless we win a trophy (we won't), I would be gobsmacked if he doesn't hand in a transfer request by the end of next season.

He's bound to get offers this summer. Other clubs will look at the situation and know he'll be feeling like he's never going to win anything with us, especially now. Potentially no Europe as well will be a huge incentive for him to leave.

really bad time for spurs to try and build a better team with the sale of kane. imo there's not crazy money around at the moment where you could get 2 or 3 starters for him. add in the fact that levy is a tightwad and jose is clueless makes spurs getting back to where they were a few years ago a tough task.

Edbo, I would be absolutely delighted if Kane moved on. Great goalscorer, but he is part of the problem. Been at Spurs to long, never going to win anything with him, as it stands.

I would be all for selling, and rebuilding from scratch. No player is ever bigger than our club, and Kane has had plenty of chances to prove himself in really big semi-finals, finals, and has mostly failed like the rest of the bottlers.

I really don`t care now who moves on. All I know is none of them have really been good enough, otherwise Spurs would have won something in the last five years.

Wow.

Wanted Poch out and now Kane.

Sandy literally just adopts one specific position (here: Mourinho is a good manager) and then changes his position on everything else to fit around the narrative.

The crazy thing is, he does this in order to avoid having to admit he was wrong about that one thing (backing Mourinho so vocally)... But in the process he completely contradicts every other thing he's said, which is practically the same as admitting he was wrong about those

Bloke has according to him been watching the game for 60 years but I would bet has never played the game. He doesn't understand the offside rule and like a teenager flits from one strong opinion to another.

He refuses to admit he is ever wrong and is unable to debate with anyone who dares to disagree with him.

He's an old idiot who's latest 'strong' opinion is that Jose will restore you to the team of a few years ago despite evidence from the team and almost every other fan having a completely different view point.

There's no fool like an old fool.

No club in their right mind is going to pay the £150m+ that Levy will demand for Kane. He's had injury problems and is on the decline

To be fair.... the offside rule has changed back and forth over those 60 years.
As has protection for the goalkeeper!
Used to be able to barge the keeper into the net if he was holding the ball.

Oh yes... and after yesterday's debacle the offside rule will probably be changed again!
