Surprised at the timing of this.
Is he out injured? If not, why have City let him go now?

I know, but if he isn't injured, surely you keep him until the season if over?

He wanted to go to BM.
City decided to cash in on him now rather than lose him for free next summer. He has been restricted to just 11 minutes of PL football this season after suffering a knee ligament injury in the Community Shield last August.

If his heads not in it probably best just to take him out of the dressing room, still two trophies to play for.

I know, but if he is fit now, they still have the CL and FA Cup to play for.
I guess with the injury he has had, they didn't want to risk it happening again in the next few weeks and missing out on his transfer fee.

Him and Pep didn’t see eye to eye right? If so, why stay? Why keep him?
