A player we were heavily interested in all the way back in 2013, but He Who Must Not Be Named opted for Fellaini instead. It looks like this will be his last season at Bayern according to Rummenigge.
Should we be in for him? He’s entering the final year of his contract and we need depth in midfield as well. He is top quality and would instantly start for us imo. The Liverpool rumours seem to be BS as well.

Currently the best midfielder in the world if we get him. Massively overrated and wouldn't hack the prem if we don't. I have never seen him play.

Top player but always wary of buying from Bayern.
He’s only played 30 league games once in his career and although his injury record has improved he is 29 years old.
I’d stay clear.

Not Liverpool because Klopp’s style doesn’t suit a skilful, diminutive CM - and Liverpool isn’t a big market.
I’d go Arsenal or Chelsea.

Short term contract would be okay but Ed has a habit of letting players see out their playing days with a nice long, bumper contract and that needs to stop.

Thiago is the type of signing that United have made massive mistakes with in the past.
Since ole has come in your transfer policy has changed to stay well clear of this type of player so I’d be massively surprised if United were in for him, particularly having just signed Fernandes.

It would be a risk but I think in theory a 3 of Thiago, Bruno and Pogba could work. Thiago likes to dictate play from deep doesn’t he and defensively he’s ok, would need the other 2 to put in a shift but they’re capable of that. Lovely player.

i cannot believe anyone is disputing how great alcantara has been
but i guess some people only only acknowledge what is happening in front of them.
