We'd be top 4 comfortably if we didn't drop so many inexplicable points
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So would everyone else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone else is not expected to be top 4
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you one of those fans that just can’t ever be happy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nope

Are you one of those fans content with the dross we've seen over the years?

Happy with 5th or 6th?!

We needed Bruno in the summer, everyone knew that. He's transformed us. We fecked up which meant we dropped a stupid number of points because we could not break teams down like we can now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would’ve been quicker to just say yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And you are content with dross, 5th and 6th to boot. Says a lot about your standards.

Martial's wasn't really a chance

Bruno's was a free kick which are never expected to go in

Both Greenwood's were pretty much half chances (first maybe more like 3/4)

Last time we scored 5 at home was against Wigan in 2011. I was actually thinking it was against Wigan most likely as we used to hammer them.

Today wasn’t dross, we’ve just won 5-2 in case you missed it.

Mason Greenwood will be the most deadly finisher out of the three in the future.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
he is already the most deadly
when ole said so, everyone thought ole was trying to boost his cofidence

I am "almost" glad we did not sign haaland because that would have pushed greenwood down the pecking order and the potential agent drama

The main reason I thought expected goals should have been higher due to penalty and the Fernandes and Ighalo chance were big chances we missed.

Yes thrilled by win and goals. Thrilled by Mason's and Bruno's contribution, especially Bruno's.

Defending and goal keeping generally and passing at times were sub standard

Yeah, i remember Ole praising him. But at the time i thought it was a bit premature to state that.

If we get Sancho, then that may disrput Greenwood. But Greenwood is also capable playing on the left or upfront if either are slacking/injured.

Greenwood is already turning to be an important player.

Good point Prem about Sancho - if we get him that is- it may impact Mason's development. Very important decision for Ole.

We have so many options on the left, right side is a little light. Mason has done well there. Do we allow Mason to develop slowly with a bit part role or if he undroppable?

Sancho may or may not take us to another level at a great cost. Sticking with Mason is risk free but he runs the risk of hitting the dreaded 2nd second syndrome next season.

At 18 Mason he has time on his hands even if we get Sancho. Mason's natural talent will mean he plays, Ole would see to that.

Reminds me of Robbie Fowler. Great placement and no nerves
