Lets Celebrate Jamie Vardy

With all the worry we've had over our form it's easy to forget just what another massive achievement it was for Jamie Vardy Yesterday passing the 100 Goals mark in the Premier League.

He's 7th in the Goals to Games Ratio Table for the 100 Club with the six above him all doing it for established Top 6 Clubs.

"Talk about an impressive finish for Vardy: seventh place amongst so many legends!

It's incredible to think that a striker who was turning out for Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town in the last decade now has a better Premier League goal-per-game ratio than Drogba.

In fact, the only six players with a finer record are some of the greatest forwards to ever grace English shores in Aguero, Henry, Kane, Shearer, Wright and Van Persie.

What's more, Vardy has achieved it all in a Leicester team that was almost relegated when it initially returned to the Premier League and has only actually finished in the top four once.

Whether the Foxes have been winning the league, fighting relegation or stewing in mid-table, Vardy has been having a party and the stats go a long way towards proving it."

Along with his other Premier League record for consecutive Games scored.

Playing under Puel where he didn't see the ball for months on end but still managed to bag the goals.

It's extremely obvious we wouldn't be anywhere we reached without Jamie Vardy having his party!

Agree with all that..... Did Pearson at one point talk him out of quitting football or was that someone else?

Think so after his 1st or 2nd season championship?

He's propelled himself to top place of Leicester legends, no doubt about that.

Premier League legend.

Yeah, it was after his first season in the Championship, where hadn’t done well. Same season as when the now infamous picture was taken of him and an on-loan Harry Kane sitting on the bench in a Championship match.
But Pearson encouraged him and stuck with him, although I doubt even Pearson imagined he’d be here, years later, having scored 100 Premier League goals.

A top class Premier League player, or better than Ronaldo if you ask certain Leicester fans.

Don’t be silly. Probably on a par but definitely not better.

What an achievement. My all time favourite ever player, just pure class for us. I still worry how we will replace his goals when he eventually retires!

Vardy first 100 goals at 1 million quid is 10k per league goal.

Torres for Chelsea at 50 million quid and 20 league goals is 2.5 million per goal.

Let that sink in a mo!

Which Ronaldo?

He's referring to when Arro said he'd rather have Vardy than Ronaldo due to our Great Team spirit.
