Just wanted to know if any of you think Bielsa should be honoured by the club if he achieves getting us promoted and how the best way would be to do it.
Thinking outside the norm of names of stands and statues etc i thought a differant way to show an appreciation would be having a 3rd kit in the style and colours of Newells old boys who we know hold a special place in Bielsas heart.
I love our kits to be traditional but just as a one off i think a 3rd kit in style and colours of newells would be something Bielsa would love as it has strong links to his roots and respect of his background and where he comes from.
Newlls kit looks ace by the way. It has got dark red in it but i would definately buy one and think it would be popular among our fan base.

Altough just so we are clear the Newell kit is black and red, which some idiots might have a problem with.
However, while we are talking about them let's not overlook the fact that they have the single greatest badge in football

46 has it spot on! Yes, Bielsa is the main man and must be given the keys of the city or a goddamned statue or something.
As for Radz, we are a business proposition, pure and simple. We can thank Kenny Dalgleish for Radz coming to ER. And Orta brought our great coach to the club, even if his general direction of the recruitment of players has been more off than on the money. Wouldn't call them a dream team but phase two of the AR business plan is looking positive going forward.
Jesus, are we there yet? Nearly.
Great result at the weekend - missed the game but very pleased with the result. Just got to keep it steady now....

Question, who on this board,(or any other!)thinks this team/club would be where we are now if Cellino was still here?..
AR has a few times said he has made mistakes, but thinking about it, he's made it with his baking not anyone else's!..
Asking if Bielsa should be honoured, the same question could be asked for AR, no matter how anyone sees it, he's put the club where it now is!..

Howard Wilkinson had a restaurant named after him.... not sure if it still exists?
Ate in there several times a few years ago, it was excellent. But I think a statue is certainly a good idea and should be produced.
I'll be the dissenting voice on the shirt …. i'm not an idiot, but i'm not sure those colours would suit my grey hair. But if the concensus happy to go with that, fair enough. He (MB) does need some recognition …… personally i'd prefer Lowfields Road renaming to Marcelo's Way …. but that's just me.

Matty, if Cellino was lucky enough to get anyone like Bielsa he'd be very unhappy!..
He wouldn't know what to do with his baCking if someone managed to keep him in a division that he's meant to have bought his clubs to help, it'd be to much of a wakeup call that just could be to much for him to take!..
As for Bielsa's Statue, we could have one with him and AR on his bucket!.

To be truthful Lubo, I've never seen Bake Off, so, I wouldn't know!.
