Great news for the club and great work by the club to achieve it.
Next season we have been awarded category 1 status for the academy and will be playing in Premier League 2.
Allows the U23s to play at a much higher standard. In Europe. And means the club receive more central funding.
This will help the youngsters improve massively.

Dosent that get them into whatever the fa trophy is called these days?
Having our academy players getting the chance to play some cup games against league 1 and 2 clubs us a nice bonus

It would be interesting to know exactly what the club had to do and what it cost to get the Academy back up there!
