Is it just me or is it the oldies that don’t seem to be giving a feck about coronavirus, even though they’re the ones most at risk?
Take yesterday for example. I went to my Sainsbury’s local as I was out of loo roll and needed to lay one down. There’s a bit of a queue to get in and the old dear behind me is about 1ft from me, whenever I move forward she does too until I remind her about social distancing.
Then when I get in the shop I’m looking for a meal deal and another old coot puts her hand on my shoulder as if you excuse me and walk past.
This is just yesterday. At this stage I think it’s Darwinism if you can’t be fecked to protect yourself. If I get the virus I’ll probably be fine but it’ll finish off these morons who don’t seem to care. Maybe they’ve enjoyed lockdown as they can sit in their living rooms eating Spam and pretending the Germans are coming and so they don’t want it to end.
Has anyone else found this?

Nope.
Same as the mouth-breathing 'leave' supporters (there is a demonstrable correlation), age has nothing to do with it.
Both phenomena are generally down to lower levels of acquired education

Maybe if they'd worn masks, fewer people around them would have voted Leave.

It’s because Linda from Facebook who works for herbal oils saved my life told them face masks are just for controlling the population.

A good point for old people though is that they could feel less risk because they’re old. As another poster said, ‘had a good innings’, for want of a better phrase.

Mate if you’re gunna use your one grandma as anecdotal evidence all old people stay indoors, i’ve also seen many old people in clinic who do not want to be burdened with medication A, B and C and their side effects at their age. I just think it’s a valid and interesting point, and it makes sense. Obviously not all old people will think like that, and in the case of rona still not justifying it (given risk of spread to others)

I don't think anybody who was 70 fought in either of those wars and those of who are 70 today also certainly didn't.
