Whatever you think of Serge Aurier, it must have taken a ton of character to play tonight.
We’ve had poor players before and we will have them again. It would have been so easy for him to not play, but he did. He’s gone up in my estimations but make no mistake, I don’t rate him as a defender and we must buy better
But well done to you Sir. Can’t have been easy and strangely he wasn’t all that bad in the end although he was at fault for their goal.

On another note, I was banned from the match thread for criticising Poch, long time ago now.

Fair play to him for playing, must have been an awful few days for him

Good post and I completely agree with the sentiments. But as a defender yeah he needs to get the fack out of the club.

Well done to Aurier for fronting up after a personal tragedy, but he has been at fault for both goals conceded against Arsenal and Newcastle. We need better.

respect him a lot for wanting to play. i don't think anyone has ever questioned his attitude regard playing - his game is just riddled with errors every single time and he has to be moved on.
