What's the deal with this one anyway.

I remember reading a year or so back that she accused Depp of being physically abusive, psychological torture and being held hostage. All of this seemed to be accepted as fact at the height of me too.

It seems now it's gone to court it was in fact all the other way round?

It didn't come across particularly true that he was a woman beater in the first place. I mean he's been married before, and as far as I know he was never once accused by his ex-wife or other exes. Why would this suddenly become a recent thing with his new partner?

He's exes came out and defended him back then.

I'm confused, are you saying he was accused of the same thing before, or that they've defended him on these latest allegations?

They defended him against these allegations. They said he never hit them. Some of them are still friends with him.

That's what I mean then. It makes it more unlikely that he's been hitting her.

Beating women isn't something you do during a midlife crisis one day. You usually have form for it throughout your life.

There was also an audio that came out a few months back that seemed to show that Heard is the one abusing Depp.

Like most abusers, it seems she was the one gaslighting the public and used the MeToo movement to her advantage. The truth seems to be coming out and MeToo advocates are going to have an issue with what Heard has done.
