That leaves saka as our only real wide option (Auba needs to be central)

We are going to have to invest in a left sided forward

Ridiculous how unlucky we get with injuries. Especially with younger players. Had so many promising Or younger players hampered by injury for years. Diaby, wilshere, Eduardo, Walcott, ox, van Persie, Gibbs, all had injures at key points in career. Also had likes of Rosicky, vermaelen, cazorla who could never really hit hit levels they Should have here constantly. I’m sure there more examples

Gutted for the youngster, especially since Arteta never gave him a look in. Could have a few more goals to his name before his lay off. Willian is perfect. I really like the thought of Saka and Martinelli having him to learn from and his age means he won't get in the way of either player. Since he can play just as well on the right too, he also gives us someone to threaten Pepe's place. Real pressure on his spot might just get his right foot working too

Young Mr Martinelli, heal up, rest up and be back better and badder soon

Yup, really disappointing, he is for me by far the best young attacking player we have, let’s hope there are no complications and we get him back fully fit in January.
