Alright lads, rather than an extended break I’m asking admin to shut down my account to avoid the temptation to post again. The site isn’t great for someone like me really and I think my negative views (and the need to sound off) have p1ssed a couple of Leicester fans off in particular
Dunge, Mersey, Nev, Foxello, Dublin, YH, Downsouf etc, I wish you guys all the best, been on the site for 12 years and it’s been a rollercoaster following Leicester with you all on here - but has genuinely been worth it and kept me going! Yep I’ve said I’m off many times, but something has clicked this week and I need to really just finish with social media
Genuinely hope we pull off a miracle this season (we have done it before). I think whatever happens, we are in the right hands with the owners we have and I hope that if we don’t get CL we can keep this squad together and more importantly, the club learns a hard lesson and invests in some much needed strength in depth
All the best to you foxes fans
Jake
All the best

We’ve “interacted” a few times on the boards so just want to wish you all they very best and fully respect your decision.
Take the best out of life and if this or anything else gets to the point where it’s just not worth it, then you’ve done absolutely the right thing.
So best of luck and best wishes for whatever path your life takes.

I just have this feeling you are going to be back at some stage Blacksy. I do hope you swim back to these shores in the new term because you have been a great part of a dozen or so immense contributors for a long time now, those who have maintained the momentum of this board which has often been standing on its last legs as it were. This is unlike myself, struggling to keep pace with modern times, offering very little of any value and so remote from reality in terms of day-to-day life at this fine little club of ours. It all sounds rather boot-licky and syrupy, but I can’t describe it in a more appropriate manner.
I’m sure you’ll reconsider your position in due course but this is a good time to take a “breather” and step back, particularly as we are approaching the “final showdown”.
As before, if you want to contact me by e-mail please contact an administrator and they’ll put you in touch, I’m sure.

Just a quick post on this and I’m sure many would agree, your comments downsouf are well valued on here mate and you often bring some great stuff to the board in the form of memories from the archives of great city players and matches that the likes of myself and others really value.
I wasn’t around to see City in the 60s 70s or early 80s so it’s great to get your comparisons and perspective from a fan that’s been there through the good and bad.
Mersey, Nuneaton, YH, Irish, gingernuts, really appreciate your comments as well and keep flying the flag on here
Foxello - thanks for your comments mate, please keep on posting because I’ve personally found your insight really useful over he past few years. Not always agreed with you on managers etc, but yours is an opinion I always respect. And that’s saying something
Let’s hope we get Nev back on, Christ if things get really bad, I might give a John Gee a nudge.......
And finally Pranks, Cinci - keep the Spurs fans in check in my absence, 606 is relying on you!

Jake,
I'm sorry you feel you have to leave completely, but I respect it. You've got to do what's right for you in the end.
I'll miss you from here; as Nuneaton said it's always more interesting with you around. If you decide you do want to come back at some point, you'll be welcome. If not, I wish you the best for the future.
Just remember, whatever path you tread now and in the future, never give up. Keep on fighting. And as the saying goes: when you're going through hell, keep going.
Foxes never quit.

You'll definitely be missed by all the genuine contributors. All the best for the future Jake and hope to see you on here again in the not too distant future.

As someone who only contributes the odd comment but has been watching City from before Birch signed and reading this site since its BBC days I will miss reading your posts and your views.
Look after yourself and all the best.

I've deleted all my social media because it either makes me mad or anxious. I'm much happier without Faceache and Tw@tter et al.
I've kept this site because it's just football (mostly) and an LCFC chit chat and match day bants..
Stick around BS, just don't take it too seriously!

Black Starr is called Jake? 😂😂
No wonder he is angry all the time
Come on Utd, put the final nail in Jake's coffin! 😊
