Lost to Chelsea, lost to Southampton and now dumped out of the cup and they can't even use the Laporte excuse.
Europe exit next.

Season Starts Now

It seems City were still hungover from their greatest ever European victory, perfectly understandable.

what this does is sets up some nice possibilities to liven up the end of season.
1. spurs 7th will be desperate for arsenal to not win the Cup. that should be fun.
2. utd v leicester final day. and potentially utd v arsenal in fa cup final. utd could be on top of the world going into euopa or in a bleak place.
3. city have real coming to town for last 16 of cl. that's going to be very interesting now.
4. cheslea have to play utd tomorrow then liverpool in front of the gallows on Wednesday hoping to ruin liverpool's night. chelsea have the lead bit it could all implode or be in prime position for a great end to season and big transfer window.
this is far more fun than a man cheaty procession.

You think a Chelsea win to deny Man Utd 4th would detract from lifting the PL trophy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you think us going and losing Wednesday then having to trophy party won't be just plain, well..... no problem then fine but for me the thing is hard to watch as it's not like you've been through the mill and you reach the line.
We've ran off to the line, sat there and had a picnic for 9 weeks and come back to this half ar$ed effort and really it's anti climatic.
The team doing what it did v arsenal and Burnley is just showing how it's all an anti climax.
Wednesday would be a whole lot better if we dont lose at home for the first time in years thanks very much

It wouldn’t detract from it. Lifting the trophy is what it’s all about

Seen this..
Man City have trouble filling up a screen with fans never mind a stadium.
Wonder if they actually sold out the spaces but some couldn’t make it to watch the match, on tv.
