What an achievement. 12 of the 30 league goals this season have been penalties, but they still have to be scored. Only the 3rd player since the 1950's to hit 30 league goals in Serie A after Luca Toni and Higuain. Immobile also got his 30th in the same match to become the 4th.
He's hit the 30 mark in PL, in La Liga and now Serie A. Goes to show quality players excel anywhere they play. This record is here to stay for a long time since I can't see any of the top young players play in the three leagues or even maintain a high enough standard to be able to get this record. He's also in with a chance of winning the golden boot too.

Fantastic player. Best striker in the world a couple years ago, maybe even bless but the 12 penalties in a league which isn’t in his pomp takes away the achievement somewhat

Yeah it does a bit. If it were like 4 or 5 pens then fine, but 12?? Funnily enough Immobile who is on the same number of goals also has 12 pens.
Makes me think how well certain players in the PL have done getting to 30 goals with barely any pens like Salah and Suarez.

Yup no denying how good he is but even last few years at Madrid Benzema done the donkey work and ronaldo lurked back post for a header or took a pen. Just a lethal finisher. All round game he’s been behind messi always for me, but most notably the last few years
