End of season JA606 Leeds awards

I think the time has come to go through a few 'best ofs' from this magnificent and memorable season in a mock up awards ceremony. I have come up with a few categories and thoughts/contenders.

I will give you my take but please pitch in with your own thoughts and any more best ofs or awards too, amusing, ja606 member based ones, whatever.

Best Leeds player this season - So many to choose from mainly in defence but Dallas for me. The way this guy has taken to Bielsa's coaching and worked is fantastic.

Best match of the season - Maybe an obvious winner here? Birmingham away

Best Leeds performance this season - Stoke at home. 5: 0 . pressure on the game and a dominant ,emphatic win.

Best Goal - Luke Ayling vs Huddersfield.

Best in game moment. Pablo's winner at Swansea. The moment we must surely have thought this could be it finally.

Best off field moment. final whistle at Huddersfield and the friday night that followed.

Best opponent performance. Maybe fresh in our minds but Barnsley in a losing effort and g;ad they stayed up as they actually look a really promising side.

Worst refereering decision. Beradi sending off at Millwall.

Best Bielsa moment - In game. Tactical switch vs Fulham to take off Bamford despite scoring and go on to win pivotal game 3: 0

Best Bielsa moment outside games - Coming out of his flat to set off for Elland Road on 'that Friday'. so humble, respectful and just an all round legend.

Favourite pundit - Jermaine Beckford

Funniest character in team

Most likely player to be future manager

Best atmosphere of season at Elland Road

Recruit any player from another championship team, who would it be?

You would win it hands down. Best home poster probably Highland for his match threads and never really getting wound up. How does he do that ?

Cheers Cal has it sunk in properly yet?

Not really been weird. Haven't celebrated with mates or been to the pub. Hoping something official is sorted out before the season starts .

It'll be the little things that drip feed through - release of new fixtures, PL branding popping up on everything, Elland Road FINALLY getting onto the FIFA video game (tearful goodbye to the Eastpoint Arena for those who play...), constantly forgetting to not look in the list of Championship teams on here - that's how it is was for me anyway.

Definite shame about the crowds aspect though. Its incredibly "Leedsy" to get promoted in the middle of a pandemic!

Favourite pundit Beckford, totally agree..

In the end I loved watching Keith Andrews, purely because he’s been so negative for two years about us and you could see it was killing him 😂😂😂😂

Dorigo done a stella job on co commentary. He was the first pundit interviewed after Sir Smith - Rowe scored

Ha ha I got a bit carried away.there, maybe a few more then with no suggestions:

Funniest character in team

Most likely player to be future manager

Best atmosphere of season at Elland Road

Recruit any player from another championship team, who would it be?

Funniest Character - Alioski. No contest.

Most likely to become a manager - Hernandez

Best home atmosphere - wasn't able to go to any games (I work most weekends and tickets sell out ridiculously quick these days)

If we could recruit any Championship player, I'd probably take Benrahma.

Funniest Character I would branch out and say Orta. The lad is absolutely off his rocker

A night out with Orta and Alioski. That would be a blast for sure.
