Yes probably won't be a popular with many but I still think he will be the type of player that we desperately need, especially against the low block that we will encounter next season away from home.
Saka is our only left sided genuine wide player but he is still not yet the finished article and it would be crazy for us to rely on him. Yes Auba scores goals from there but you must be deluded to think he gives us balance in that position.
I know fans will bring up Zaha stats at Palace but in an arsenal shirt, providing for the likes of Auba, I'm pretty confident he would be a massive hit.
Pepe for me has been a huge disappointment. Yeah he has scored goals here and there but his overall play has been very very average and for the price tag he has come in at, he has been a flop. Just doesn't look very interested.

As someone already stated, if a good offer came for Pepe, I would sell.
For that money, he should be showing signs that he is going to be a game changer for us and so far he has flattered to deceive.

Only a complete idiot would sell Pepe to buy Zaha, when he's already got Nelson, Saka and Martinelli. It's the LAST position on the pitch, we need to buy a player for.
Assuming Martinelli is ok, LW will be causing Arteta selection headaches buy Jan and all 3 player IMO are already better than Zaha (because he's rubbish) or if not yet. They definitely all have a higher ceiling. Aside from keeping the ones we have attackers are last on the priority list, to the point of "No need this window."
WE NEED MFS AND A CB! And ke probably has no intention of getting a CB with Saliba arriving. So we're already going to be weak at the back for a fair chunk of the season while Saliba settles and players return. MF has GOT to be strong or we'll be out of the running for any decent league finish by Jan. And most important of all here anyway is that...

Martinelli is going to play until 2021. Nelson hasn't shown anything to suggest he commands a regular first team spot Eventhough I do think there is a player in there somewhere.

MF is the priority. I have said on numerous occasions this is the worst arsenal MF in the last 20 years and it needs to be replaced.
However, for us to challenge for top 4 which is what everyone will want next season, there needs to be better attacking options than Auba, Laca and Pepe.
The club has the facking money. We need major major surgery in the team which is going to cost a lot of money.
Arteta isn't going to get 4th unless we challenge the likes of united and Chelsea in the market
