All time PL penalty statistics - updated

Here are the Premier League all time statistics for the 6 ever present clubs in the PL era:

Penalties for:

Penaltypool - 155
Pen Utd - 147
Chelsea - 135
Arsenal - 127
Everton - 113
Spurs - 110

Others worthy of a mention Man City 118, Newcastle United 108

Penalties against:

Spurs - 117
Arsenal - 109
Everton - 107
Liverpool - 95
Chelsea - 70
Man Utd - 66

Others worthy of a mention Aston Villa 113, Newcastle 108, WHU 106

Difference between penalties for and against:

Man Utd +81
Chelsea +65
Liverpool +60
Arsenal +18
Everton +6
Spurs -7

So to summarize, unsurprisingly Man Utd have enjoyed the most fortune with penalty kicks, Chelsea come in second and Pool well clear in third.

Any surprises?

Surprising that Everton come in 5th, considering they have been mid table and lower for a large percentage of the PL era.

Spurs have conceded more penalties than they have been awarded in the PL era, and out of all the ever present clubs have conceded the most and been awarded the fewest penalty kicks.

Billy’s really got issues. Never seen a poster consumed by such paranoia.

to be fair, just because he's paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after him

Have you read the fact that since 02/03, Arsenal have been more affected than Spurs when you compare penalties against vs average league position?

Can you compare all of those numbers vs the number of expected goals per season?

Refs definitely favours the likes of Liverpool and United, it is nothing new, it has been going on for decades. Seems they are scared to give decisions against them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of penalties since 2015/16 season:

Liverpool - 25
Spurs - 25

It's amazing really given the ref's are obviously favouring us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Try looking at the penalties awarded against
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again since 2015/16:

Liverpool - 16
Spurs - 19

Wow a massive 3 penalties more in 5 seasons
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where did you dream this nonsense up, Michael Oliverpool`s refereeing school?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense?

Don't forget they also had to sell all those Highbury flats for less than they initially budgeted for during the credit crunch. This in itself led to Arsenal not getting the penalties they had hoped to pay for.

How convenient you fail to acknowledge all the penalties not awarded against Pool, as well as all the red cards. Those are statistics that disappear down the big black hole of refereeing favouritism, never to be mentioned again. Robertsons leg breaking tackle at NWHL is a perfect example of said bias.
