Aaron Wan Bissaka 80
Aurier 69
Ndidi 68
Pereira 68
Declan Rice 68
including
More assists (5) than Mason Mount, Dele Alli and Aubameyang, Lacazette, Moura, Pogba, Maddison.
I'm just putting stats out there so fans take a more objective view on all our players. Focus on the truly ineffective players instead of isolating the ones that actually have end products.

Fault lies with whoever the old twaaats agenda is against at the time.
Under Poch it was the managers fault and we had a team full of internationals. Now he's moved on and we have an inferior manager (based upon his current performance not historically) it's the team full of internationals fault.
Sticks up for Aurier but slaughters Trippier who was a far better RB for us. I wasn't a massive Trippier fan but he's far better than the shiite Aurier serves up.
I wish the oldwould buggger off to another Spurs forum and I could go back to being a reader rather than having to comment on the rubbish he spouts.

Simples. Don't get so easily wound up but it's fun to read when you lose your head.
Out of interest how is Jose inferior to Poch? Their styles are different but that does not really mean anything in terms of who is better than the other.

half of Aurier's challenges are unnecessary lunges giving away freekicks, and quite often after giving the ball away.
Having said that,he is not as bad as many people are making out. He has the ability, has improved under Jose and hopefully can continue to do so.
I have a feeling that he will not be replaced this summer. We may go for a younger player to challenge him and probably rely on Tanganga to be back up too.

Ridiculous to say any player will make 50 tackles in a game.

He's a little better defensively than Trippier was last season but Trippier was better in attack than he was last season. Trippier was slaughtered last season pretty much for both areas of his play, and it was widely accepted by fans that we should replace him. That should be the case for Aurier.
No stat is more effective than using your own eyes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly spurtle. Sandy hated Trippier, yet loves Aurier. I don’t get it. Trippier was awful last season and he to admitted it, but you could at least rely on Trips to put in a decent cross every now and then. Aurier barely hits in a cross to any of our players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was proved right about Trippier though, the club sold him. Aurier is still a first pick. Tells you everything about him.
I was also proved right about cement boots as well, said he was not up to it, when everybody else said he was the best thing since sliced bread. I got that one right as well.
Hopefully I get the Winks one right as well, he is not player who should be playing for a top six club, and I expect him replaced for next season.
I will always hold up my hands if I get my assessment of any players wrong, but most times I am on the right side of history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were you proved right? He went from a team who competed in the CL and finished fourth, to another team who are competing in the CL and finished third, whilst his former team dropped to sixth and didn't compete in the CL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His former team also played in the last CL finals?

No, he really is as bad as people make out. 15% accuracy rate of crossing from nearly 150 crosses is diabolical. There’s no hiding away from it, Aurier will never get better, he is by far one of the worse Right backs we have had in years.

only reason he isnt as bad as we say he is is because he gets royally slated every day
Rb is essential especially as it is the attacking FB in Jose's set up. Tanganga can cover the deeper LB role well. Also hope to see some game time for Cirkin

Also no stand out RBs in the academy I don't think?
Wouldn't be a disaster to have Aurier as back up but is for him to be number 1 RB tbh he's not good enough we need absolute quality at least one of thr full backs. My dislike for him isn't my reason for selling him its that there is clearly interest in him at the moment and can recoup some funds. He's in his peak and unlikely to improve imo

aurier has come a long way from that first game i saw him play. that day he made three foul throw ins. now he hardly makes any.
also crossing the ball is overrated.

There’s always a scapegoat player in every team that gets the most stick, it was Sissoko now it’s Serge
He is shiiit though
