I prefer the all time top division league table:

https://www.worldfootball.net/alltime_table/eng-premier-league/

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Although if you did an average points per game based on that table we would still be above you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes if you took out the games you didn't play as you were relegated you'd be above Liverpool.

If you took out the games we were crap but not quite crap enough to be relegated, we'd be above you again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good theory but our overall win ratio is also higher than yours........

I’m just happy that whichever of those tables you’re looking at, Manchester United have won more top league titles than any other club, ever.

Demise is a strong word.
yes UTD haven't been title challengers in 7 years, but you can't compare Arsenals decline to UTDs.
Arsenal in their 16th Year of decline, and it's getting worse...
4th consecutive yr out of C.L.
Come on now..

Football was Liberated from the manc / fergie monopoly I would say 👍

'Football was Liberated from the manc / fergie monopoly I would say'

Now you're revising history. UTD brought ENG football back to the promise land. We had been tarnished and banned. UTD lay down a new foundation for which Liverpool benefits today.
UTD restored harmony from 2 decades of terror.

Alas, our two giant tankers just keep sailing past each other, doing our own thing. But i feel for the first time, we are headed for a real collision. And it will be spectacular.
