What about this Pau Torres fella? He looks a good option to me, but admittedly I've not seen aot of him. Anyone know more about him?

I read somewhere that he only managed a 47% aerial dual success rate last season...sounds like another Lindelof to me. What we need is a Bailly-type to complement Maguire

Didn't Ole speak to Ake on the pitch after the Bournemouth game and told him to to keep going as United needed a left sided Centre Back like him?

Maguire wins about 70% of his aerial battles. Considering he isn't very quick, surely we should be letting him play the Vidic role with someone with more pace coming in to play alongside him? Then hopefully coaching them both to be more dominant in the air. Torres looks to me like he needs a bit more muscle. If he can beef up a bit, you'd hope he can improve his aerial challenges, as he's about 6ft 3".

Not sure Ake’s a very solid defender. But they need a replacement for Stones, who looks to be off. Could probably end up at left back as well given it’s a problem position for City. If they get Koulibaly, which seems likely, City’s defence should be a lot better next season.

Having to coach a 23 year old CB how to win headers doesn't fill me with much confidence. We thought we could do the same for lindelof but he's barely improved in that department

Rubbish defender probably on par with someone like Maguire

Saying that tho he's already city's 2nd best defender
