I think this is the team we should and we will go with. Maybe Saka for Niles, but that should be it.

Oh yeah good point Gunther, I forgot he's cup-tied.

Is Bellerin fit?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope so because cedric looks crap.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this actually the case?? I realise he’s cup tied and can’t play, but in terms of his performances he looks pretty decent from what I’ve seen. He links up well, puts in good crosses, has a decent shot and he’s very competent with his weaker foot which is always a bonus. I’ve not watched every minute since he’s played so maybe I’ve missed some dodgy defending that’s given you this view of him??

I've watched all of his minutes for us, bar his wonder goal a few minutes after coming on in his debut I'm extremely concerned, constantly giving possession away needlessly, end product not living up to the rumours in terms of crossing and looks even weaker than Bellerin defensively (and a little slower too).
Not the player I would keep, even for a backup RB/RWB.

Hmmmm from what I saw it was the opposite, he was generally very good on the ball and had some really good moments in defence tracking his man, making interceptions etc. I’d be interested to know what others think of him as I haven’t seen much about him being discussed

No need, duff signing I guarantee. If we can sell him for a decent sum it will be a masterstroke, otherwise it's a crooked signing because of the player's agents ties to one of our senior employees.

I don’t understand how you can be so certain so quickly. Doesn’t feel like you’ve given him a chance before writing him off. He’s had 250 minutes on the pitch for us...

Will someone please stop Emi Martinez from mouthing off to every media outlet that reaches out to him ahead of the final tomorrow?
And FFS, keep him away from Twitter.

I won't begrudge any man a bit of self confidence after a decent run of games. But you ain't proven anything yet, mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ummm, proved he can command/organise his defence, come for crosses, sweep and save long shots, better than Leno actually.
Leave him alone! He's had to grind out his route to No1. he's beeen given his chance, stepped up and grabbed it with authority. The tweet isn't even that obnoxious fgs. Instead of hater-sniping hi,m down, appreciate his journey and how he must be buzzing with how he's performed. He's got EVERY RIGHT to tweet that. Because either way, next season he'll be No.1 at a top flight club.
So just HUSH...and be glad that OUR keeper is apparently feeling like an invincible badman, heading into the FA Cup final tomorrow. At least we know that ONE of the starting 11 is heading into this game with no intention of doing anything other than leaving with our 14th cup. COYG!

Exactly. He played very little, you can't judge on that. New team, new manager, new everything. He needs time.

Hope you guys are right, in my defence I usually make fairly quick judgements on players and I can't think of too many times where I've turned out to be wrong.

Haven't we just given Cedric a 4 yr contract? That'd suggest he's worth keeping at the least. We've not seen much of him but what we have seen already says he's a better defensive option than Bellerin. I think he will do well next season. So well in fact that between him and AMN, Bellerin will have to seriously get his sh t together and start to really perform. I'm still not entirely sure we won't sell Bellerin this window anyway. Barca got his head turning a few years back and he got distracted and fell off the rising curve. He's never gotten back on it since (injuries never helped with that).
Not that aware of Chelsea's players but unless they have an RW so good that Tierney and Saka will struggle with him. Then I'd rather we played AMN at RWB. He's stronger defensively and links with Pepe going forward. Bellerin still can't link with Pepe worth a damn. They can work on it next season, today we need Ainsley
