Anyway, like I said-some über fan pash being stated on here. You want examples of players being in amongst the fans? Peter Grant did it (don’t think it was a regular thing), and Mo Johnston (defo not regular!) did it as well when they weren’t fit. I think Griffiths has done it as well more recently?! I doubt there’ll be examples of any using megaphones, mainly because that’s a more recent thing. But I still don’t get what your point is?! Do you think he did it because he felt he had to show how big a fan he is-or is there maybe a chance he did it because he actually is a massive fan. The megaphone thing I believe was the GB that started that with him when he went to get a pic in front of them, and they gave him the megaphone.

Arsenal weren’t the first big club to come knocking. They tried before that, as did Everton. And he didn’t do a midnight flitting like BR, so there’s a massive difference.

BTW-you said earlier on the thread that Cal Mac was a born and bred Celtic man-he’s not.

I don’t get why Celtic fans wouldn’t wish him well. He is a genuine fan. He got an opportunity that few here would get, and he went for it. You think he shouldn’t have left because he held a megaphone, and sat amongst our fans.

By all means, you’re allowed your opinion, but others are allowed to disagree and point out that it’s fairly childish and naive to think that players won’t look out for themselves these days. Trying to compare today’s players to those of 50 years ago is pointless as well.

As for players mixing in with fans over the years then i wasnt aware that Granty did? but the other 2 are dubious characters to say the least and not just because one signed for Rangers and the other is a Hibee
I didn't say that i dont wish him well i said i understood why he would leave (for money)but that I subsequently have no interest in his career outside of Celtic
