From the 2 teams starting today’s final, only 4 from the starting 22 are English
For me, I find that sad
It totally sums up the state of football in England today, and why it just seems to becomes more irrelevant not really worth while anymore

I’m not interested 1 iota about other nations and their up and coming talent
I was purely making an observation of sad fact that for England’s most prestigious and famous footballing finale - between the 2 teams, there are only 4 English players starting - that’s just sad
But then again, that’s the state of football today in our Country - poor
