Results of Week 37
What an absolute fix. A shambles. A disgrace. How can the organiser win it? Definite cheating going on. Absolute farce. Admin needs to investigate this sham.
We went into the final week with 4 players in the running. At the halfway stage it was down to single figure points between 4. Heed took a gamble on all draws whilst troll hoped for all home wins. Neither tactic paid off and it allowed JFK to jump back into second place. A red card for Dundee United threw a spanner in the work as had St Mirren taken advantage and scored 2 goals then JFK would have claimed the title.
A little bit of shuffling in the top 10 but other than that not a great deal of movement on the board. JFK had this weeks top score with 20 but with Call Sign getting 18 (along with Lauders and CapitalBlue) it wasn’t enough in the end. Other scores over 15 was LMC with 16.
Heed found good form just a little too late in the season whilst Marco2 took a nosedive for the last 4 weeks.
Champion tracker – In his final week as reigning champion, Earl plummets to 16th place. A season to forget for the once heralded great.
Feel free to mock anyone as you see fit. Thank you all for a great season and some really close battles. NNH finished in 31st place but spent many weeks asking when the table is going up saying things like “I welcome the chase"
