Sanchez has left the building

Inter Milan have completed the permanent signing of Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez on a three-year deal.

The Chile international, 31, joined the Serie A side on a season-long loan in August 2019.

He scored four goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Inter expect to have him available for the Europa League 'final eight' in Germany after beating Getafe on Wednesday.

"We have agreed [the deal]," United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told BT Sport on Wednesday after his side also reached the quarter-finals with a win over LASK.

"He has enjoyed his time there. He is a top player but for whatever reason we didn't see the best of him. He is a top professional and we wish him all the best."

The precise terms of the deal are unknown but is almost certain to have involved United taking a significant financial hit.

Sanchez played 45 games for United after joining from Arsenal in 2018, scoring just five goals.

He becomes the third player to join Inter from United in the past 12 months, with striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Ashley Young having made similar switches.

=======================

Was happy when we signed him, but he was a shadow of his time at Arsenal. I hope that he can continue his recent form at Inter, as no matter what you throw at the lad, he did always try when on the pitch.

Betws y Coed is nice, don’t live too far away from there myself.

.....

Yes it is. I had a great weeks break from being in NI, there in the summer of 1979. Not a drop of rain that week either.

My second fave part of Wales after the Pembrokeshire coast.

Not a drop of rain! You must have been there the only week it wasn't raining!

There used to be a disco just up the road from the village we used to go to in the mid 90s on a Wednesday night. It was full of army lads bu the bonus of that was that it was also full of women looking to bag a soldier. When they couldn't do that they had to fall back on us local lot!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

VC's cast offs! Oh how the mighty have fallen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
VC goes back one day, sits in a beer garden having a pint. Looks around and there’s loads of guys who look just like him, but 20 years younger, same mannerisms and happy go lucky outlook etc..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I might have been off with my timings. If VC was there in 79 and Diafol out and about in the disco by the mid-90s. By my calculations there is a 59% chance that VC is actually Dialo's dad.

And if we factor in how much ofthey both are.....well, I'll let you do the math.......

I’ve a funny feeling I was in the Craig-y-dderwyn hotel. I remember it being a big hotel in semi Forrest location, and it was lovely and warm when I was there, as like VC states on his visit. Maybe we took the weather with us’

That would be this one. About 1/2 mile outside the village not far from a petrol station.

Aye, but VC's memory isn't what it was. Could of been there 79. Could of been there 76.

Despicable!

I left school in 76. From September I was in Dover. One of the biggest $hit holes of a place I have ever been in.
