I sometimes really cant grasp what Im reading at times. The sheer panic about our squad depth and quality. I said same last week this squad has won us the league and champions league in last 2 seasons. We have 1 of the best squads around. If a cb,lb and another creative/attacking option are brought in with us only losing lallana, lovren and possibly origi then i see no issues there.

We are very well equipped right now. We have a fantastic blend of both youth and experience and most importantly, a group of proven winners. We dont need mass changes, others do, hence their spending.

Milner was filling in for Robertson but Lewis would be a good option. There's Matip and then Fabinho for centre back. Williams has looked a top young player when filling in for TAA. I'm not concerned one but about that cover. Midfield has a load of options. My only concern about the squad would be if we sold Origi, then we have limited options on the left and upfront. For me that's the position we would buy for if Origi left.

Fabinho being your 4th choice CB when according to transfermarkt he has less than 300 career minutes of experience there still doesn't feel great to me but maybe he very much so impressed when played there

Think cover for trent would be sensible too, even if this kid is very promising

Truth is anyone next to VVD looks good as he guides people through games. Don't see why we'd sell Matip but Gomez has been shakey and injury prone despite looking great when he first partnered VVD. Fabinho can play cb abit like Fernandinho did for man City and he's capable but you need him in mf really.

Cb needed if Matip sold (psg) rumours and also sell to buy rumours also doing the rounds which is scandalous if true.

Fabinho has been good in defence when he's played. As fourth choice there he's a good option. Nah Williams is good cover and he needs games. If we had bought a player when TAA was coming through he may never have developed like he did.

Gomez hasn't been shaky at all. He was one of the best centre backs in the league last season.

He was awful post lockdown and Matip has been better. I believe he will be great but he picks up alot of injuries unfortunately

the point of the op os that most of our bench players are linked to moves while our own links for buys are not worth talking about.

GK: alisson, karius
RB: TAA, Williams
LB: Robertson, TSIMIKAS
RCR Gomez, Ki
LCB: VVD, Van der berg
No 6: Fabinho
No 8s henderson wijnaldum, milner, ox, kieta, jones
No 9: Frimino, minamino
LW: mane
RW: salah, elliott

we've improved already.

If we retain a few we might even make it to the top 4 now lol
