I'm quite enjoying the CL, its nice to have some club footy on the box late summer that will pretty much see us through to start of next season.

Munich look really strong, can't really see past them right now.

I think they look the strongest out of the teams left. They beat the champions of both England and Spain,in the last month. I don't think Bayern are as good as some people think. They always look good early on but as soon as they face a top team, they lose, every season, in the CL.

Thrashed by Liverpool at home last season.
Beaten by Real the season before.
Same again the season before that.
Atletico in 15/16
Barca 14/15

So on and so on.

To be fair we’ve had some naff results but the actual quality of the football has still been good. Even recent losses like Chelsea and Southampton we’ve played some good football and both were entertaining to watch.

I think the red card was probably the bigger issue in that game. So as I say, in a one off game who knows! They do look decent thougj

The fact that the article states "individual's" rather than "player's" makes me suspect that it's 2 non-player staff members who've contracted it.

I suspect this sort of thing will be the new norm for a while. Very naive to expect the PL to be devoid of new cases after the restart for example. Clubs will just need to do their best with what they've got.

I always see these results in football as a good thing. They likely wouldnt have been tested or realised otherwise, nor those close to them as a result.

As for the CL I think Bayern having Lewa and City not having Aguero may make a big difference. City's defence has had errors in it all season and the way Lewa is playing I dont think they'll outscore Bayern. Barca always have a shout too. Is it now one of games? If so it's much harder to call and we know they can play. I watched us against Batca last year, thought we outplayed them largely, created the better chances and lost 3-0 because Messi is ridiculous.

Mad stats on Lewa atm too. Scored in 86% of his entire CL games apparently and has 13 in his last 7 or something daft.
