I feel the need to admit the wood in my kitchen is a kinda brown colour and the granite worktop is black - I’ll expect an investigation
Maybe it might even make the BBC news
WHERE ARE WE GOING WITH THIS NONSENSE?

I mean, you are worked up enough to write an article about it on a football forum. Why has something so trivial affected you so much?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It hasn’t affected me in as much it’s altered what I think, or how I live my life
But it does pose the question, just where will this pathetic, cry baby nonsense take us as a Society and as a Country?
That fact that the Media feed this by making it news - is a huge part of the problem - and it just encourages anyone and everyone to scream ‘injustice’ at the slightest thing
I’d like to know how one counteracts such a mentality without being called a bigot, sexist or racist?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It beggars belief how this country managed to rule most of the world, defeat the Spanish armada, beat Napoleon and Hitler, yet University students cry there eyes out every time a tree falls over.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The generalisation by both sides doesn't help matters. Entrenching your views on other people's views doesn't serve to achieve anything. Are you saying that the mere act of attending university makes you a "snowflake" and overly sensitive? Did the people who achieved the things you spoke of not attend higher education? Did none of the people on the other side?
The reason media articles like this exist is because both sides sensationalise the actual story, as opposed to accepting it as a ridiculous thing and quickly moving on. The Mirror or whatever know they will get clicks from both sides, because both sides overblow things ridiculously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not just that, the entire Country has become a total panic station - everyone is absolutely fearful to say something or look at someone for fear of being sued or arrested - perfect example: why did M&S apologise? They should have hit their top person on TV to laugh at the suggestion Made by that woman, but NOOOOO!
Far too terrified, far easier to apologise and show remorse - WTF??
This story has been blown up by the media, and because M&S have apologised to this pathetic, miserable snowflake (although snowflakes are actually white) it just adds fuel to the fire
Totally pathetic state of affairs - we’re becoming a spineless, sad Country

The very fact it’s been published by the media has made it News, irrespective of how many clicks it’s gained in the process
The media believe we NEED these kind of stories, to go along with 90% of all the other sh!te were fed by the BBC et all on a daily basis - because we now live in a blame game society - and the media, like parasites, live off creating ‘bad news’ stories and feeding it the public
Why do you think programmes such as BiG Brother, The X Factor, Celebrity Love Island, etc etc are so popular?
Because people crave to see the unfortunate, vulnerable and confused wheeled outside so what we can mock them
The Victorian Freak Show never went away, it’s now called reality TV - and the media love to destroy and blame people - and society has totally bought into it
Sickening

The mere fact that you deleted my post and then responded to what I said is example enough of why this conversation isn't worth happening.

Lubo, I honestly didn’t delete your post, I was trying to replay to it and maybe pressed delete by mistake
I am sorry, as I honestly didn’t intend to don that,

I thought it was possibly deleted by admin at first, as I couldn’t understand why or how it got deleted
Then maybe I accidentally deleted it whilst trying to reply to it

Nah the media publish it because they know it gets people like us to click and share and be outraged. We are creating this. Not the one girl who complained in a shop. Ignore it and it goes away. But we don't because we want to be outraged.

And you may say ‘it’s trivial’, but this sort of thing is becoming more prevalent in our society, to the point where it becomes the norm and the media call it news
I think I’d rather be labelled as a bigot, sexist and racist, than just to accept and give in to such pathetic attitudes

Honestly why do you care? Someone complained to a shop about something theh didn't like (which they have the right to do) and the shop has apologised but not made any changes yet (which they have the right to do).
Yet we have a thread of people freaking out about this and going full dogwhistle.
