Almost every player in the world will have "play for x" on their wishlist of things to achieve during their career, and proportionally very few times will that x be Leeds United. Business can't be dictated on such things.

If he wants to sign for Arsenal then he will go there (although I would doubt there would be any interest from Arsenal), but Leeds should still be in for a player like that, regardless.

Erling haaland is a Leeds fan and his ambition is to play for us in the premier league. We’re there now so Sign him up.

Oh, doesn’t work like that sadly.

If you are a professional footballer, if professional football is how you support your family and loved ones. If you want to achieve success and have trophies to look back on, then most would sign for them.

There might be a few diehard exceptions to that, that's up to them. But most fans if in the position to choose that and it was the best option for them professionally and personally - they'd sign and play for them.

Despite his comments Erling Haaland will only ever play for Leeds, unless nearing the end of a career, if the ambition and salary from the club match his demands is my guess. (Hope i'm wrong mind!).

Its rumoured Messi wants to play for Bielsa, maybe he thinks Bielsa can get a few years more out of him!..

Wouldn't be a bad signing though!..

I think for the Haaland thing to work we'd have to be in the Premiership for 3 or so years, nobody knows if he's a Charlton/Reaney type that wants to play for Leeds or if he's only talking his boyhood dream!..

Yep, boyhood dreams, we've all had them, I had the same when I used to run around pretending to be Peter Lorimer!..
