This is why I like Daniel Levy so much

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg PL appearances for Southampton: 134

Southampton profit from sale: 2.2m

Kyle Walker-Peters PL appearances for Tottenham: 9

Tottenham profit from sale: 12m

Separate deals they said. 25m or he's off to Everton they said.

He knows how to strike a deal does our Daniel. Nobody can compete with him.

Best Chairman in the Prem, by a countrymile.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he bought Hojbjerg?
How do you pronounce that name, BTW?
HodgeBejerk?

Anyways we need to replace Vertonghen (gone) Alderweireld (old) Aurier (crazy) Davies (not good enough) and we need a second striker.

oh yes.... and we're still wondering what to do with the wrong Fernandes Levy bought on the cheap... while ignoring the right Fernandes!

That's 6 players needed and only one player in, so far.
Levy has a lot of trading to do before he can claim a label like "best Chairman in the Prem"!

How do you get things so awefully wrong ALL the time, Sandy? ....

Give it a rest Ted, post something constructive for a change. You seem more intent on having a pop at me then actually posting an intelligent football post. Why does that not surprise me.

Ted`s gone, never to return. He is not a supporter anyway. Went to one game in 1950, and spent the rest of his years moaning about the club.

He should have stepped up 3 years ago, invested £100M in 3 quality additions included cover for Kane and maybe, just maybe we’d now be celebrating our 1st league title in 60odd years....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nah football don`t work like that. United have spent millions in the past five years and are nowhere near a title.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
3/4 years ago though you had one of the best first 11's in the league though. All you needed was 2/3 high quality additions and you'd have definitely won something.

Your position in 2016 was essentially where we were in 2018, only we bought the players to take us to the next level whilst you stood still.

I think you are forgetting that Walker, Rose, Dembele and Eriksen have all left, and our CBs were getting older. The team peaked maybe three/four seasons back, and money has been spent, and will still be spent, but it takes time to rebuild. The time for Spurs to win trophies was four seasons back. Once that didn`t happen was going to be difficult to keep going with the same bunch of players.

Liverpool added a couple of players to a squad that had not yet peaked. Big difference.
