Fixture congestion.

So with the EFL cup telling us when the cup games will be played our fixture list is insane.

04/09 - 08/09: 2 International Games (England: Saturday 05/09 and Tuesday 08/09)

Saturday 12/09: Premier League
Tuesday 15/09: EFL Cup Round Three
Thursday 17/09: Europa League Second Qualifying Round
Sunday 20/09: Premier League
Tuesday 22/09: EFL Cup Round Four
Thursday 24/09: Europa League Third Qualifying Round
Sunday 27/09: Premier League
Thursday 01/10: Europa League Playoff Round
Sunday 04/10: Premier League

07/10-14/10: 3 International Games (England: Friendly likely Wednesday/Thursday 7 or 8/10, Sunday 11/10, Wednesday 14/10)

So it’s seems we’ve pulled our U23s out off the EFL trophy cup. Can only assume we’ll be using them for the league cup instead

Here in Scotland the European qualified teams join the league cup at a later stage than the rest. 👍🏻
